Charles Lewis Doyle, age 81, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Monday, August 14, 2017, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana. He was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on October 14, 1935, to the late Orville and Annie Doyle. He was active in the United States Army, where he served two terms, from 1958 until 1964, and was ranked Sergeant E-5. He was a retired tobacco farmer and former part-time employee of Clay's Tobacco Seed Company. He attended Indian Creek Baptist Church and was a proud member of Woodmen Life. He was preceded in death by: three brothers, David Doyle, A.J. Doyle and Donnie Doyle; and two sisters, Eunice Moyers and Marjorie Fryman. He is survived by: his wife of 56 years, Shelby Jones Doyle; three sons, Jeff (Darlene) Doyle, Greg (Terry) Doyle and Robert (Aleta) Doyle; a daughter, Sharon (Willie) Riggle; a sister, Phyllis (Bobby) Brady; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Tom Moore. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
