Golda True Hampton, age 93, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Highlandspring Nursing Home, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. She was born on April 13, 1918, to the late William Norman and Celvina Pugh True. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Thedford Hampton, who she married November 17, 1937; her children, Deloris Gail Hampton Hewitt, Rev. Brenda K. Yeager and Gary Gene Hampton; a sister, Alma True Jett; and three brothers, William A. True, and twin brothers, James and Jessie True. She is survived by: four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Joe P. True, of Ft. Thomas; and a sister, Freida Fern Williams, of Paris, Kentucky.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, at St. John's United Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ.
