MANSFIELD - ARSTILOUS "BILL" CLINE, 79, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Cline was born November 4, 1924, in Enterprise, Kentucky, living in the Mansfield area since 1947. He went home to be with the Lord. He retired from Westinghouse in 1987 after 35 years.

A charter member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Kentucky Avenue, where he helped serve for many years as prison chaplain, he was also a member of AARP and Westinghouse Veterans.

Mr. Cline was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Adith M. Hall Cline of Mansfield; three sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony Scott and Bobbie Cline of Shelby, Michael Edward and Sheila Cline of Kodak, Tennessee, and Bruce Allen and Wendy Cline of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Alice Sue and Henry Diersing of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer and Alma Cline and Ivan and Magdaline Cline, all of Mansfield, and Clarence and Arlene Cline of Springfield; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Paul Salyers of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Mary Jane Cline of Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Abner and Nola Littleton Cline; two sisters, Flora Kiser and Lorene Cline; and a brother, Charles Otha Cline.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Bruce Morrison. Military services will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Park.
