Funeral services were held Sunday, January 26, 11:00 a.m. at Preston Funeral Chapel for Uyvonna Lynn Cantrell, 52, who passed away Thursday, January 23, 2003 at Kings Daughters Hospital. Mrs. Cantrell was born in Rowan County, Ky. on September, 23, 1957, daughter of Vileta Cooper Williamson and Lee Edward Johnson (step-mom Esta Salyers Johnson). Surviving is her husband, Eulas Paul Cantrell; one son, Brandon Paul Cantrell; one daughter, Monica Gale Spriggs of Flat Gap; four brothers, James McKenzie and Keith Johnson of Flat Gap, Jerry McKenzie of David, Gary Johnson of Hager Hill; two sisters, Lorita Sublett and Susan Bartley, both of Flat Gap. Funeral was officiated by Carl Fyffe and Jerry Lee Castle with burial following in the Salyers Family Cemetery in Red Bush. Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville.
