David Earl Doyle, 63, of Germantown, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 19, 2017, at his home. He was born on September 27, 1953, to the late Hubert and Ruth Browning Doyle. He was a member of Baptist Christian Church, in Robertson County, Kentucky. He is survived by: his wife, Earie Marie Smith Doyle, who he married June 4, 1983; his children, Beatrice Haughey, of Bracken County, Marsha Patton, of Lewis County, Regina Slone, of Flemingsburg, Jonathan Doyle, of Fleming County, Jane Ware, of Sardis, and Garland Smith, of Lewis County; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Ida Stout, of Lewis County, William Doyle, of Fleming County, Ella Mae Pollitt, of Lewis County, Linda Cropper, of Lewis County, Brenda Humphrey, of Tennessee, Eula Washburn, of Ewing, Bobby Doyle, of Ewing, Joseph Doyle, of Mason County, Ricky Doyle, of Fleming County, Douglas Doyle, of Tennessee, and Charlie Doyle, of Lewis County. He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Marilyn Doyle; a son, Hubert Doyle; two brothers, James Doyle and Larry Dean Doyle; and a sister, Mary Jo Doyle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home in Germantown. Burial will be at Shannon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
