Delores Dugan, 84, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Born in Fleming County on April 13, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Henry Dewey Doyle and Mattie Ovel Hickerson Doyle. Delores worked as Food Service Director for Mason County Schools for 45 years. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Maysville. Delores is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Downing Dugan , Sr.; her granddaughters, Christel Dawn (Paul) Siglock and Jaime Jo (David) Maiden; her great grandchildren, Madison Caitlyn Sowers, Jaymes Marion Sowers, Lukas David Maiden, Jonas Allen Maiden, Tristan Matthew Siglock, and Koby Daniel Siglock; her brothers, Marion (Susan) Doyle and George (Millie) Doyle; and her daughter-in-law, Patricia (Jody) Hodge. In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her two sons, James D. Dugan, Jr., and Toni Dale Dugan. She was also preceded by her siblings, Jewell Earlywine, Beulah Armstrong, Beulene Carver, Russell Doyle, Raymond Doyle, Melvin Doyle, Adrian Doyle, and Barbour Doyle. Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, at Faith Assembly of God Maysville with Pastor Lon Leland officiating. Delores will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, at the church located at 296 Martin Luther King Hwy, Maysville, Kentucky 41056. Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
