Calvin Earls, 81, of Dover passed away Friday June 24 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Navy Veteran who served in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
Born July 31, 1923, in Murphysville he was the son of the late Omar and Elizabeth Grayson Earls.
Surviving are five children, Sharlene (Cecil) Blevins of Louisville, Linda (Ronnie) Tolle of Maysville, Patty (Mark) Schweickart of Maysville, Jack Earls of Maysville, and Scott (Tammy) Earls of Flemingsburg; one sister Ruth Earls and two brothers Claude (Wanda) Earls and Howard “Whitie” Earls all of Maysville, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A son Omar Dale Earls; 2 grandchildren Ronnie Tolle, Jr. and Dwight Tolle; five sisters Hazel Beckett, Helen Crawford and Rachael Kenton; twin sisters Doretha and Dora Earls; three brothers Russell Earls, John Earls and Davy Earls; preceded him in death.
