Mrs. Musetta Florence Claypool, 68, of Vanceburg, died Saturday, June 5, 1993, at her home.

She was the widow of Marvin A. Claypool, who died in 1977.

Mrs. Claypool was born August 29, 1924 in Lewis County, the daughter of Mrs. Zella Cropper Elliott of Tollesboro and the late James H. Elliott.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Dannie Elliott of Mesa, Arizona and Jim Elliott of Tollesboro; and five sisters, Mrs. Judy Meranda of Tollesboro, Mrs. Nina Mullikin of Norwood, Ohio, Mrs. Jewel Himes of Mesa, Arizona, Mrs. Gayle Yingst of Follansbee, West Virginia, and Mrs. Phyllis Hester of Maysville.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Imogene Applegate, and by three brothers, Warren Elliott, Clyde Elliott, and Dean Elliott.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 1993 at the Dickerson Funeral Home with Rev. Sanford Doyle officiating. Burial was in the Lewis County Memory Gardens.
