Charles Franklin Fearin, 73, of Flemingsburg, KY, passed away Thursday January 1, 2015 at Fleming County Hospital.

Charles was born May 30, 1941 in Fleming County to the late Raymond & Mildred Hamm Fearin.

Charles was retired from Browning’s in Maysville after 36 years of service. He was a lifelong farmer, he along with his late wife where very talented trainers and showmen of Quarter and Paint horses across the area.

Charles is survived by his sons Charles Franklin Fearin II of Flemingsburg and Matthew (Elizabeth) Fearin of Prosper, TX; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Clay, Carson and Peyton Fearin; Great Grandson Daniel Brinker; siblings Raymond (Eula) Fearin Jr., Christine Jennings and Patricia Fearin of Flemingsburg, Dixie Lee (Rod) Smoot of Hillsboro; special friend Mary Wilson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kittye Emmons Fearin, sister Corine Mckee and his parents.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday January 5, 2015 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Darrin Fizer officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 6 – 9 PM at the funeral home.
