A lifelong Rowan County resident, George Glover, passed away at his home on Holley Friday. Death came at the home of his son, Nathan, and was attributed to a heart attack.
His wife, Minnie Glover, preceded him in death.
He leaves seven children, Mrs. Click Thompson, Mrs. Jim Banker, Mrs. Boone Logan, Elmer Glover, Ersa Glover, Earl Glover, and Nathan Glover, all of Route 2, Morehead. He is also survived by 47 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Mr. Glover, who engaged in farming, had been an active church worker for many years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jake Plank with interment in the Masters cemetery
