She was born on December 24, 1954 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Nathan Delbert Glover and Latonia Crissie Hamm Glover.

Mrs. Back was a homemaker and a former employee of Goody's and Cowden's Manufacturing. She was a member of East End Church of God, a volunteer for St. Claire Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, where she had served as president and she enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Ann Back, who passed away in 1991, one brother, Samuel Robert Glover and one sister, Janice Ruth Wagner.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Back, whom she married on July 1, 1972, one son, Joseph (Karla) Back of Olive Hill, four brothers, Ray (Stella) Glover of Olive Hill, Paul (Wilma) Glover, Charles (Ellen) Glover and Garry (Janet) Glover all of Morehead, four sisters, Pearl (Charlie) Kilgore of Olive Hill, Dora (Keith) Dickerson of Mansfield, Ohio, Iva Clark and Marilyn 'Libby'¯ (J. P.) Cooper all of Morehead, two grandchildren, Karianna Marie Back and Kale Joseph Back and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Lands and Ronnie Thompson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Glover, Danny Glover, Brent Back, Reggie Pfeifer, Bobby Rayburn and Gary Back and honorary pallbearers will be Tim Jessie, Melvin McDowell, Bobby Wagner and Carl Wagner.
