Leo Richard Glover, Sr., age 57, of Goddard Road, Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. He was born January 11, 1951, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Earl T. and Faye Hamm Glover. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Tiffany and Sarah; one sister, Lacy “Sue” Glover; one brother, John Woodrow Glover; and his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Meade Glover; one daughter, Shelia Carnes and husband Joey of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Leo Richard (Richie) Glover Jr., and wife Sandy of Morehead, Kentucky; Ballard Brian Glover and wife Jennifer of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren, Joseph, Kenny, Tasha, Jocelyn, Megan; three stepchildren, Jimmy, John and David Adkins; three step-grandchildren, Jake, Kameron, and Tyler; one brother, Willis and Linda Glover of Morehead, Kentucky; four sisters, Edna Stevens, Manda Glover, and Diane and Donald Butler, all of Morehead, Kentucky, and Kay and Wendell Goodpaster of Salt Lick, Kentucky.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Peggy Davis; and his mill family at P & L Hardwoods.

Leo was the owner of P & L Hardwoods of Morehead. Wood was his lifelong passion. He started working in the logwoods with his father by age 12. When not working, Leo enjoyed fishing and spending special times with family. Just last summer, he took his entire family on a Florida vacation. He will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ray Glover, the Rev. Moe Craig and the Rev. Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Masters Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mel Bradley, Jonathan Gray, Mike Henderson, Mikey Henderson, Don Householder, Johnny Pennington,Stephan Pennington, and Gary Gulley.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
