Mrs. Helphenstine

Redia F. Helphenstine, 80, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday morning at Fleming County Hospital. She was the widow of Jesse D. Helphenstine.

Mrs. Helphenstine was born Nov. 21, 1936 in Fleming County, the daughter of the late Jessie R. and Mary Smalley Gulley.

Survivors include a special niece, Peggy (Don) Miller of Flemingsburg; two sisters, Alene Sellers of Flemingsburg and Nina Hopper of Flemingsburg; four brothers, Tracy Gulley of Oklahoma, Tommy Gulley of Flemingsburg, Paul Gulley of Muncie, Ind., and Billy Gulley of Flemingsburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceeded n death by sisters Elma Muse, Naomi Beckett, Edna B. Rice, Mayme Swim, Flora Rice, and Fredia Hilterbrand and a brother, Elmer Gulley.

Services were Tuesday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hickerson officiating. Burial followed in the Wallingford Cemetery.
