MR. HAMM

MAYSVILLE -- Eugene Hamm, 70, a resident of Central Avenue, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2004 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
<br><br>
He was born in Mason County on Aug. 1, 1933, the son of the late Garcia and Oda Mineer Hamm.
<br><br>
Mr. Hamm was a member of the First Christian Church, Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. Before his retirement, Mr. Hamm was a truck driver.
<br><br>
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Jouett of Cincinnati, and Beverly Igelias of Boca Raton, Fla.; two sons, Michael Hamm of Mason County, and Steven Hamm of Connecticut; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Cody and Brandon Hamm, Amber Hamm, Jeremy Edwards and Joey, Jessica, Lazarus and Barbara Igelias. Also surviving are two sisters, Gladys Reynolds of Fleming County, and Helen Stamm of Wallingford. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ollie and Holman Hamm; and a sister, Lena Bickley.

Funeral services for Eugene Hamm will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Knox and Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
