Geneva Hamm, age 56, of Goldenrod Drive, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

Born June 23, 1951, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Levi Weldon Hamm and Darcus Virginia McKenzie Hamm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Arnold Lee Hamm on January 4, 2007, and one half sister, Dorothy Vanlandingham in 1971.

Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Goodman of Morehead, Kentucky; four sisters, Eula Crisp, Beulah Holbrook, Betty Day, and Lynda Bates, all of Morehead, Kentucky; four brothers, Charles Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky, David Hamm of Salt Lick, Kentucky, Howard Hamm of New Paris, Ohio, and Oscar Hamm, Jr. of Nicholasville, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Geneva was an employee at Wal-Mart for 19 years and also worked at Hecks for several years. She was a beloved mother and sister who especially enjoyed her family and family get-togethers. She attended Sharkey Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with the Rev. David Starcher, the Rev. Jamie Sparks, and the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ernie Holbrook, Jamey Dixon, Brandon Ferrell, Rodney Glover, Chris Howard, Joe Slone, and Jeff Evans.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
