Geneva Peach Hamm Kitchen, age 81, of Henagar, Alabama, passed away September 7, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama.

Born March 8, 1930, in Soldier, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Arizona Hamilton Hamm. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jane Gregory and Emogene Sparber; brothers, Edmond, Earl, Clifford, and Oscar Hamm; one son, John Kitchen; and one granddaughter, Leslie Kitchen.

Geneva is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Harold “Buster” Kitchen; one daughter, Garnet Jean and Raymond Ususan of Imlay City, MI; two sons and their wives, Bill Kitchen of Warren, MI, and Roger Kitchen of Imlay City, MI; one brother, Willie Hamm of Morehead, KY; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Janice, Kari, Michael, Amber, Matthew, Victoria, and Brianna; and nine great grandchildren.

Mrs. Kitchen was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was deeply loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011, at Masters Cemetery. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Sunday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
