John William 'Wig' Hamm, 81, of Sandy Hook, formerly of Soldier, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Elliott Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook. Burial will be in Boggs Family Cemetery with military rites by Elliott County VFW Post 11428.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
