L. EDGAR HAMM, 90, DIES OF PNEUMONIA

L. Edgar Hamm, 90, native of Rowan county, died at 11 pm Monday at his home at Wallingford following a brief illness of pneumonia.

He was born on February 19, 1872, a son of the late George W. and Eliza Hamm. In his younger years he had taught school and later had engaged in farming. He was a member of the Wallingford Methodist church.

Surviving are one brother, Bert Hamm, who resided with the deceased, five nieces and five nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 am at the Wallingford Methodist church by the Rev. Amos Harmon and the Rev. H. T. Hill. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The remains are at the Moxley Funeral home in Flemingsburg where friends may call until the hour of rites.
