Russell Garnett Hamm

Russell Garnett Hamm, 56, of Ft. Mitchell, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday at his home.

He was a 35-year employee of Crown Distributing Co. in Newport. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of St. Patrick Church in Independence and Syrian Shrine.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Louise Recker Hamm; sons, Bruce A. Hamm of Portland, Ore., and Brian E. Hamm of Elsmere; a daughter, Barbara J. Hamm of San Diego; brothers, Robert Stickrod of Orlando, and Ronnie Hamm of Ft. Wright; sisters, Roberta Perez of Crescent Springs, Rita Brown of Cincinnati, Rose Gausepohl and Rebecca Hill, both of Florence, and Cindy Dilly of Erlanger; and four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia, with prayers at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
