THOMAS HAMM

Thomas Hamm 66, widely known and respected farmer of Fleming County, died at 5:45 pm tuesday at Fleming County Hospital where he had been a patient for sometime. Ill since March, Mr. Hamm admitted to major surgery April 15. Death was attributed to complications.

The deceased was born in Fleming County, the son of the late James and Anna Staggs Hamm, on June 8, 1901. He was married to the former Jinny Hickerson.

One whose upright character commanded respect from all. Mr. Hamm was esteemed for his honesty and integrity.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Forman, Maysville; one brother, Irvin Hamm, Fleming County; two sisters, Mrs. Lester Carpenter and Mrs. Mae Hinton, both of Flemingsburg; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at the Boone Funeral Home. Rev. Harley Johnson, evangelist with the First Church of God will officiate and burial will follow in the Wedonia Cemetery.
