Mr. Willie Edgar Hamm, age 81, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday morning, December 7, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born December 13, 1932, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Harrison and Arizona Harris Hamm.

Willie worked at BW Pallet Company and J. C. Wells Sawmill and enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to Poppy Mountain, and taking care of his children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Robbie Lee Hamm and Harold Hamm; two daughters, Freda May Hamm and Frances Jane "Kirby" Jones; three grandchildren, Brent Carter, Avery Hamm, and Willie Joe Hamm; four brothers, Edman Hamm, Oscar Hamm, Clifford Hamm, and Earl Hamm; and three sisters, Mary Jane Gregory, Geneva Kitchen, and Emogene Drake.

Willie is survived by his wife of 59 years, Toni "Alice" Conley Hamm; five sons and three daughters-in-law, Joe and Janie Hamm and Edgar Hamm, all of Morehead, Kentucky, Mike Hamm of Soldier, Kentucky, Ben and Janet Hamm of Owingsville, Kentucky, and Jessie and Mary Ann Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon Hamm of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Carol Ann Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky, Loretta and Jim Herron of Grayson, Kentucky, Mable Sue Pelfrey of Soldier, Kentucky, Tina and Bobby Walton of Morehead, Kentucky; 34 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Don Rivers and Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamm Family Cemetery in Soldier, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
