Mrs Ruth B Darnall, 90, of Ewing died Thursday, June 23, 2005, at her home. She was the widow of Ira Allen Darnall.
<p>Mrs Darnall was born in Ewing on July 11, 1914, the daughter of Charles A and Minnie Hysong Helphinstine. She was a devoted member of the Ewing Christian Church, a dedicated supporter of the Ewing Women's Club, the Ewing Fire Department and the Ewing Lodge. Mrs Ruth was a school bus driver for 46 years for the Fleming County School System.
<p>Mrs Darnall is survived by four daughters, Doris (Jack) Kerr of Dayton, Ohio, Jane (William) Hanley of Boynton Beach, Fla, Nancy (George) Aldridge of Monroe, NC, Sally Darnall of Lexington; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by three children, Patsy Meyer, James Douglas Darnall and Reba Lyons.
<p>Services will be 3 pm Saturday at the Ewing Christian Church with the Revs Larry Ingram, pastor, and Norman Wasson officiating. Burial will be in Elizaville Cemetery.
