Marilyn Ruth Hunt Follmer, 73, of Elizaville, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Meadowview Regional Hospital.

Born on October 28, 1944, in Fleming County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Pugh Hunt.

Marilyn worked as a seamstress for Bluegrass Industries.  She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Women’s Auxiliary.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, William Donald “Bill” Follmer, a retired boilermaker; her grandchildren, Myranda Lytle and boyfriend Shae Henderson, Martina Lytle, and Cara Spencer;  her great grandchild, R.J.; her brother, George Hunt and wife Linda; and her uncle, Cecil Pugh and wife June.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Marty Lytle.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, August 10th, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Boling and Bro. Lloyd Hutchinson officiating.

Marilyn will be laid to rest in Maysville Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 9th, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the charity of one’s choice.
