Robert Lee Huntsman, age 78, of Salem, Ohio, formerly of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Blossom Nursing Home in Salem, Ohio, after a long illness.Robert was born April 19, 1937, in Imperial, Pennsylvania, the son of the late James Loman and Dorothy Whitacre Huntsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Judia "Tol" Barker Huntman; second wife, Rosemary Whisman Huntsman; one daughter, Alice Jane Huntsman; and four siblings.Robert is survived by two daughters, Kaye Easter of Morehead and Dorothy (Allen) Huntsman Miller of New Cumberland, West Virginia; one son, Michael (Leshia) Huntsman of Morehead; seven grandchildren, Allen "Tinker" Miller and Jason Loman Miller, both of New Cumberland, West Virginia, Jessica Miller of Wheeling, West Virginia, Matthew Scott Coursin of Lexington, Marcus C. R. Coursin of Morehead, David L. A. Huntsman and KaLynn R. Huntsman, both of Morehead; eight great grandchildren, Jacob Russell, Trent Miller, Kierra Miller, Preston Miller, Baylee Miller, Raven Coursin, Johnathan Coursin, and Lavender Coursin; several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.Robert was a former water management employee for the Ashland Water Department in Ashland, Ohio, for many years and was a member of New Haven Freewill Baptist Church in Elliott County.A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Burris Leadingham and Brother Ricky Leadingham officiating. Burial will follow in Whisman Cemetery.Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
