Mrs. Olive Ann Hamm, 73, of Gas City, Ind., died Oct. 17, 2007, at Saint Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born June. 1, 1934, in Flemingsburg, to the late William and Carrie Insko. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hamm.

In 1991, she retired from Foster Forbes Glass Company in Marion where she was the lead mechanic in the decorating department. She was a member of the Marion AMVETS, Marion Eagles, Gas City Moose, Gas City VFW and the Jonesboro American Legion. She enjoyed playing bingo for a hobby.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Steve (Kathy) Velarde of Marion, Ind.; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Bubby.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah F. Velarde; a son, William R. Hamm; four sisters, Beulah Helphinistine, Ida Mae Insko, Reece Carpenter and Jean Emmons; and three brothers, Raymond Insko, Bill Insko and Brooks Hamm.

Services were Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home in Flemingsburg.

Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery at Grange City.
