<h2>Mr. Johnson</h2>
James Vinton Johnson, age 77, of Foxport passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, at his residence.
He was born in Rowan County, Aug.13, 1930. His parents were the late Burt and Dora Johnson.
<p>Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jane Johns of Foxport, and Sarah Baker of Hamilton, Ohio;
 one son, Chris Walker of Hamilton, Ohio; two brothers, Clinton (Mae) Johnson of Flemingsburg, 
 and Hurl (Wynoma) Johnson of Hillsboro; and one sister, Mertie Johnson of Rowan County.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Shields Johnson; three brothers, Johnny, Roscoe, and Sidney Johnson; and a sister, Cecillia Johnson Butler.
Services were Tuesday, at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Brother James Hickerson officiating.
Burial followed in the Elizaville Cemetery. </body>
