Mr. Eugene 'Blue' Jones, Age 69 of Upper Lick Fork Road, Clearfield, passed away Thursday after the truck he was in ran off the road and overturned in a creek near his home.

He was born August 1, 1940 in Rowan County, Kentucky to Mrs. Lola Gregory Jones and the late Millard Jones.

'Blue' was a retired farmer and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He was a member of the Cave Run Chapter of Quail Unlimited and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by a sister Mrs. Bertha Jones Wallace.

Survivors include his Mother, Mrs. Lola Gregory Jones of Clearfield, Three Brothers; Clarence Jones and his wife Brenda, Cleo Jones and Glenn Jones all of Morehead and one Sister, Letha Cox of Morehead. Also, Several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Carlos Bowman, Rev. Charles Moore and Rev. Herbert D. Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 PM Saturday at the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home.

Pall Bearers will be Virgil Brown, Mitch Terrell, Phillip Perkins, Denver Forman, Carl Crose and Johnny Bowman.

Honorary Pall Bearers will be Anthony Wallace, James Wallace Randy Cox and Jamie Jones.

Contributions are suggested to the Jones Cemetery Fund.
