Verna(Beckett)Critchlow, 92, passed away June 26, 2008 in Anderson,Ind. She was born Feb. 2, 1916, in Muses Mills, Ky., and lived in Anderson since 1947.

Survivors included a son Dennis (Lana) Critchlow of Anderson; a granddaughter, Kara Critchlow and a step-grandson, Kevin Spaugh of Anderson; special nieces and nephews, Connie VanZant, Bruce Hardy, Wanda Kline, Peggy Minnick and Tammy Hall of Anderson. Mollie Herring and Russell Beckett of Marion, In. and Shirley Clapp of Middletown, IN. Also several nieces and nephews in the Vanceburg and Mayslick area.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Hattie (Sellers) Beckett, husband Ed Critchlow and 1 brother and 6 sisters. Services were held Monday June 30,2008 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial was in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
