Carl Edward 'Petey' Lewis, 47, Ellington Loop, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 in the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky.

He was born on August 22, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio, a son of Regina Brooks Lewis and the late Earl Lewis.

Mr. Lewis was a former employee of Harold White Lumber Company. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, target practice and raising a garden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Lewis, who passed away in 1989.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda Luman Lewis, his mother, Regina Brooks Lewis of Morehead, one son, Ryan Earl Lewis of Morehead, one daughter, Regina Mae Lewis of Morehead, step-daughter, Tonya Arnold and her husband, Lonnie of Morehead, two brothers, Earl Lewis, Jr. and James Lee Lewis both of Dayton, Ohio, two grandchildren, Samantha Arnold and Sarah Arnold, two nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. and Rev. David Starcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery. Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Luman, Frank Harris, Jonathan Parker, Steven Riffle, Jake Lewis and Johnny Pennington.
