Mary Frances Little Parker, age 71, of Riddle Fork Road, Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at her residence.

She was born May 28, 1943, at Sharkey in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Arthur and Iva DeWitt Little. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Littleton; two brothers, Shelby Arthur Little and James Little; and one brother-in-law, Floyd Salyer.

Mary is survived by her companion of 24 years, Gordon Donahue; one son, Joseph Parker, Jr. of Morehead; one stepdaughter, Mary Shannon Donahue of Clearfield; four grandchildren, Joseph Andrew Parker, Allie Parker, Haley Boone Sutherland Parker, and Emily Frances Parker; and four step grandchildren, Conner Clay Weaver, Montana Cheyenne Weaver, Brooklyn A. Bagwell, and Brock A. Bagwell.

Also surviving are two sisters, Vernie Little Salyer and Donna Faye Mauk and husband Frank, all of Morehead; two brothers, Orville Little and wife Karlene and Dennis Little and wife Grace, all of Morehead; one sister-in-law, Juanita Little of Morehead; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Mary was a nursing assistant at St. Claire Regional Medical Center for 22 years and a member of Sharkey Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking and gardening. Mary will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Adams-Plank Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Joseph Andrew Parker, James Little, Conner Clay Weaver, Calvin Mynhier, Jr., Mike Little, and Brian Little.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
