Archie Jay Littleton, age 59, of 801 North, Morehead, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, at Owingsville Manor after an extended illness.

Born February 2, 1956, in Maysville, he was a son of the late Orris and Mina Butler Littleton. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Paula Littleton Puckett, and his father and mother in law, Owen and Kathleen Skeens.

Archie is survived by two children, PFC Morgan Gabrielle Littleton of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and retired SPC Gabriel Ryan Littleton of Morehead; mother of his children, Karen Jo Skeens Littleton; two brothers, Rickie Littleton and Phillip Littleton, both of Morehead; sister-in-law, Kimberly Skeens Little and husband James of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a former construction worker, farmer, employee of Intersteel Inc. in Lexington, and Claude and Roy Canada Farms in Morehead.

Archie enjoyed spending time with his children kayaking, camping, and vacationing and also loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, flower gardening, and boating. He was of the Church of God faith.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Allan Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
