ARGOS-Agnes M. Holderread, 82, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at her home. Agnes was born June 4, 1934 in Morehead, Ky. to George and Anna (Glover) Logan and lived in Argos for 28 years, coming from Donaldson. She was a former employee of Price Abbator in Plymouth and attended the Highway Chapel Church of God in Hamlet. On January 21, 1985 in Donaldson, Ind., she was married to Dean Holderread, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Kenny (Kathy) Bradley of Kewanna and Michael Bradley of Culver; four daughters, Lisa Styrkul of Wisconsin, Connie (Gerald) Sibbel of Wanatah, Lora (Jeff) Fishburn of Argos and Mary (Keely) Bradley of Buchanan, Mich.; two step-sons, Arlen (Patricia) Holderread of Plymouth and James (Sandra) Holderread of Plymouth; one step-daughter, Vickie (Ben) Burger of Lorida, Fla.; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Noami Poppewell of Russell Springs, Ky., and Louise Whittley and Mary Warren, both of Moorehead, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sherry Arbuckle; two sons-in-law, Jimmy Arbuckle and John Styrkul; three sisters; and five brothers. Funeral services will be Monday, October 10, 2016 at 12:00 noon (Eastern Time) at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel with Pastor Dan Allen officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Monday at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Argos. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Highway Chapel Church of God.
