MOREHEAD - Gary Stanley Luman, age 45, of Spring Street South, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2005, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. He was born December 19, 1959, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Nella Bumgardner Luman of Morehead and the late Stanley Leon Luman. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Amanda Joan Luman, and one sister, Unisha Rochelle Luman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Gulley Luman; one daughter, Brianna Rochelle Luman of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Kevin Luman of Nashville, Tennessee; and three sisters, Rhonda Lewis of Clearfield, Kentucky, Karen Davis of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Markeeta Luman of Morehead, Kentucky.
Gary was a former welder.
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2005, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ben Furman, the Rev. David Starcher, and the Rev. Carlos Bowman officiating; burial was in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Allen Luman, Jonathan Parker, Robbie Moore, Ryan Lewis, Randy Pennington, and Frank Harris. Visitation was Saturday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead, Kentucky
