Betty Hamm (1930-2009)

<p>Betty Hamm, 78, of Flatwoods, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2009, in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland, Ky.

<p>Mrs. Hamm was born July 29, 1930, in Johnson County, Ky., a daughter of the late John and Rose Bitterman McCarty.

She was of the Pentecostal faith.

<p>Surviving are her husband, Oval Hamm; three daughters, Connie Hamm of Ashland, Ky., Donna King of Florida and Emma Lou Hamm of Denver, Colo.; four sons, Jeff Hamm of Argillite, Ky., and Jerry Hamm, Gary Hamm and Larry Hamm, all of Naples, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

<p>Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, Ky. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
