Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home Dorothy Mae McRoberts Dorothy Mae McRoberts, 84, of Columbus died at 12:11 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2003, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus. She was a former resident of Elm Street Group Home in Seymour, and previous to that was a resident of Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Seymour and enjoyed weaving. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 7, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Davenport officiating. Calling will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of Bartholomew County. Born October 8, 1918, in Knightstown, Miss McRoberts was the daughter of Isaac and Lutie McRoberts. Surviving are a brother, Robert McRoberts of Wyoming; and a caregiver, Mary Pettigrew of North Vernon. She was preceded in death by brothers, Oral McRoberts and Ernest McRoberts; and sisters, Mary Page and Dora Wilcox.
