Raymond Joseph Blais, M/sgt. Retired

Born June 30, 1930. Swampscott, Ma. .Went to Heaven.. September l6, 2009 Pensacola, Florida

In addition to his loving wife, Virginia Blais, whom he married March l8, 1978, Ray is survived by daughters Sue Blais Girvin, Morgantown, Ind. Pamela Baxter, Pensacola, Florida, Kathy Heatherly & Dawn MacClean, Dayton, Ohio and son Michael S.(Barbie) Isham. Hebron, Ky. 6 Grandchildren, Alexander Blais Girvin, Steven (Nickie) Puckett, Wesley Baxter, Kim (Jamey) Richardson, Bethany Isham, & Ashley (Mark) Boggs. Plus 7 Great Grandchildren. his sister Marilyn (Stanley) Foley, & Shirley Blais, And many nieces & nephews and dear friends.

Ray was retired from United States Airforce as M/Sgt after serving 22 years, and was employed at John Hancock Life Insurance Company. He loved going to yard sales & working at the flea market and traveling with his wife Virginia.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Mary Blais, Two sisters, Barbara Garvey & Shirley Hutchinson. & brother David Miller. His quiet mannerism, his sense of humor & his honesty touched so many lives who knew and loved him. No words can begin to describe how Ray will be missed by all of us.
