Orville Muse, 78, of Ewing died Monday, June 23, 2008, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He was a self-employed trucker.
Mr. Muse was the son of the late Clyde and Alta Morrison Muse.
He is survived by one daughter, Mignon (Leonard) Rucker of Flemingsburg; one sister, Alberta Hunt, Maysville; two sons, Orville Muse Jr. of Flemingsburg and Dale Emmons (Brenda) of Ewing; a special friend, Elizabeth Ann Berry of Fleming County; four grandchildren, Billy Ray Plummer, Fiona Leet, Michael Emmons, Katie Rucker; and six great-grandchildren.
Three sisters and five brothers preceded him in death, Sudie McKee, Allie Hardin, Artince Plummer, Edward, Tommy, Harold, Archie and Espie Muse.
Services were Thursday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Elizaville Cemetery.
