Lucy was the wife of Boyd 'Nick' Reed Sr. for sixty one and a half years. Momma was a retired inspector with Foster Forbes Glass Company. She was born in Fleming County. Her parents were the late Thomas and Ercie Hunt Doyle.

Momma was a very loving, caring and devoted person to our dad, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to read her Bible everyday. While living in Marion for fifty five years, she was a member of Hanfield United Methodist Church. She loved to work out in her flower beds. Momma was totally dedicated to her husband.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Judy (Dick) Caldwell, Marion; and Jane (Roger) Adkins, Lily, Ky.; one son, Boyd M. (Anita) Reed Jr., Marion; one sister, Betty Corey; two brothers, Jimmy Doyle and Tommy Doyle, both of Marion. Momma is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
