Agnes “Aggie” Jones Nauman passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in her Waterford apartment surrounded by her family. She was 91.
She
was born February 1, 1925 to parents Eddie & Clara (Evans) Jones in
Jacobs, Kentucky. Aggie has been a longtime resident of Mansfield for
nearly 60 years, and retired from White Westinghouse after 30 years of
service.
Aggie was a member of The Liederkranz of Mansfield, the
Moose Club of Galion, VFW of Crestline, and the Amvets Post #26. In
spare time, she enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards.
She
is survived by her daughter Janny Nauman of Mansfield; ex-husband David
Nauman of Mansfield; brother and sister-in-law Clell & Louise Jones
of Mansfield; sister-in-law Gay Jones of Olive Hill, KY; numerous nieces
and nephews and a special niece Barbara Leveque of Mansfield.
In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Danny
Porter; first husband Doffie Porter; sisters and brother-in-laws Lydia
& Charles Egans, and Lucille & Roy Porter; brothers Phillip
Jones and Nelson Jones; special friend James Dill.
Aggie’s family
will receive friends on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 3-6 pm at the Marion
Avenue Snyder Funeral Home Finefrock Chapel with a funeral service on
Monday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
